Who We Are

        Challenger Transport Co. Ltd (Challenger) started as a family-owned business, which was incorporated under the laws of Jamaica in 1986. It has been under the ownership of the Pagon family since inception and has grown from a public transport service provider and auto parts retailer to a major force in the Jamaican automobile sales and service industry.

       Challenger is a full-service dealership for Chevrolet in Jamaica since 1999. The company also deals in used Japanese vehicles due to the predominance of these units in the Jamaican market. CHALLENGER currently operates from the central area of the city on a major thoroughfare (Molynes road).

            The company has sold over 1,000 Chevrolet motor vehicles since opening the dealership in mid 1999 and over 3,000 used units since it started trading in this area in 1996. The company offers auto repair services with state of the art equipment and auto parts sales on a grand scale, with sixteen service bays.  Challenger Transport also has other subsidiaries Challenger Auto LPG, Challenger Car Rental which complements Leases and AC Delco, an arm of General Motors.

        We have diversified our operations to include distribution of JAC heavy duty trucks that includes dump trucks, concrete mixer trucks, tractor heads, ambulance, tow trucks and Stake body.

       Our target market includes but is not limited to the construction industry : commercial/road/housing,  construction & limestone and bauxite mining, government entities such as the Ministry of Health and Private Ambulance Services.
